2024 Update

We’re delighted to share the news that Bromley-by-Bow Gasworks obtained a Resolution to Grant Planning Permission for the comprehensive mixed use development of the site including the detailed planning application for Gasholders No.1 and No.2.

We’ve continued to welcome people on site and this June took part in Newham Heritage Month, marking 3 years of taking part in the borough-wide heritage festival.

The team ran 6 guided heritage tours of the gasworks, giving a further 52 members of the public the opportunity to get up close to the gasholders, learn about their fascinating industrial history and meet the team to hear more about the future of the site.
