Newham Heritage Month Events June 2023

We’re pleased to announce we’ll be taking part in Newham Heritage Month this June – the borough wide festival showcasing the rich and diverse history of Newham.

Sketch & Walk Tours

We will be running free Sketch & Walk tours with local artist and designer Lydia Thornley. Come and walk amongst the gasholders, look at it’s industrial and natural landscape, structure and patterns through drawing and connect with other sketches. No drawing experiences needed – whether you’re a professional or someone who hasn’t drawn in years, you’ll be welcome – and materials provided.

Guided History Tours

Back by popular demand, we’ll be running our heritage tours around the Grade II listed gasholders with local historian and tour guide, David Charnick.
