Untouched for over a decade, the seven Grade II listed gasholders played a part in the East End’s rich history of innovation and invention.
Last year, we opened up the former gasworks and welcomed over 200 people to this unique site.
As St William continue to develop proposals for the site, we invite you to join a free guided tour and learn more about the history and view the updated designs.
Due to health and safety reasons, the site tours are only available to over 18s. Full PPE is required and will be provided, but do bring your own if you have it (hard hard, high vis jacket, gloves and safety glasses).
Please arrive 15 minutes early so we can start promptly.
Location: The entrance to the gasworks is just past Twelvetrees Bridge on Twelvetrees Crescent E3 3LD (opposite West Ham Memorial Garden). What3words location is here.
