It was great to be part of Newham Heritage Month this June – the borough wide festival showcasing the rich and diverse history of Newham. We ran eight guided tours around Bromley-by-Bow Gasworks with local historian, David Charnick, in total welcoming over 80 people to the site.
Attendees had the opportunity see the gasholders up close, learn about the fascinating industrial history of the site and surrounding area, and meet the team to hear more about the future of the site.
We hope to host more tours later in the year. Sign up to our mailing list here to keep updated.
