Update and Tours

We wanted to let you know we have now submitted a planning application to Newham Council for the redevelopment of Bromley-by-Bow Gasworks.

The planning application, which is part outline and part detailed, will be available to view in full on the council’s planning portal in the coming weeks.

We will also provide a summary on the project website and provide links to the key documents.

This is a significant milestone for the project and we want to take the opportunity to thank everyone for attending our events and sharing your feedback so far.

Since March 2022, we have welcomed 315 people on site, held over 24 meetings with local community groups, ran 16 events during Newham Heritage Month, held 3 days of workshops and career insights with 4 schools and undertaken 2 separate work experience weeks, engaging over 350 students from local schools.

We would now like to welcome you on site again in October where you can view the final designs on site and provide feedback to the team, alongside a free heritage tour.

12pm – 12.45pm

1pm – 1.45pm
